What is it worth to me?

One of the most vexing issues for me during my work: the pricing of products. The topic is already been covered in various Filzblogs. In my pricing, I have to include many separate components: the pure material costs, charges, my work and ultimately I must simply my creative idea can appreciate. It should then come out to finish off a price with my clients and I can live. Add to markets, there are always people who look at quote on the price tag one or the other comment (partly out of sheer ignorance). My response to those comments, and my price is always the same: "What is art craft worth?"

On my last market, a lady complained about the price of my hand-felted cuffs, a few stalls selling a woman on the cuffs were cheaper by half than mine. I have tried to explain to her that these were sewed the cuffs of my colleague bought a ready-Walk material, my wool and matted down by hand are seamlessly. The price difference is not caused simply by the absolute equivalent production process. A quick nod and a "Aha," then went on the lady. Now I have added myself a few meters walk fabric, felted many beautiful ribbons variations arise from it now felt-Walk-headbands and cuffs. Now I can explain my stand on the customer the difference and I enjoy sewing some variety of felting .... I will show you the result here in the next few days.
